Can these be printed so the date you write on it in marker and the words are readable from outside the vehicle instead of inside?

We do not recommend it because handling the static side too much can cause it to lose the static that holds it on. I cannot guarantee anything will work like that but if I had to pick something I would suggest at least a light adhesive. A sample may be a good option to be able to test your needs.
