Will this work for a champagne bottle and can you also drink out of it?

This has a soft rubber bottom and should fit most wine and champagne bottles. In theory, you can drink out of it, but it is advised to be done carefully because of the angle of the aerator and to be sure the fit is secure.

It will not. There is no need to aerate Champagne/sparkling wine as it has bubbles. You should also only pour from it into a glass, not drink directly, unless of course you want to be the life of the party! :)
