Yes we haven't had an issue with any laptop.

Yes. As you can imagine, your laptop will not shut 100% with this in place but it will close enough to where it is securely closed. We have these on Mac and PCs and it does not interfere with the closing mechanism or magnet.

Yes, there should not be a problem with a Mac or PC.

Depends on the laptop model. We had an issue with some (not all) of our Dell laptop models with touchpads where the webcam cover actually damaged the touchpad (not sure which models). It really depends on where the webcam cover hits the touchpad and how the laptop closes.
